Ngô Ngọc Hưng (born 19 January 1998) or Hanbin (Korean: 한빈), is a Vietnamese singer active in South Korea as a thành viên of the boy band group, Tempest.[2] He had previously gained recognition competing on the Mnet reality show I-Land.[3] Hanbin became the first male Vietnamese idol vĩ đại debut in a Kpop boy-band, Tempest.[4]

Early life[edit]

Hanbin (Ngô Ngọc Hưng), was born in Yên Bái, Vietnam.[4] He is a self-taught dancer since 15, according vĩ đại his online fanmeeting. Career[edit]

2020–2021: I-LAND, first fanmeeting, and agency changes[edit]

On 2 June 2020, he was introduced as a participant in the CJ ENM and HYBE's then upcoming survival show I-Land. On the first episode, he performed "Jopping" by SuperMwith NI-KI and Nicholas, but was 'eliminated' by voting among the trainees and was placed in "Ground". On the 7th episode, he ranked 12th based on the global votes and was able vĩ đại move onto Part 2 and become one of the final 12.[5] On Episode 10, Hanbin ranked 4th out of 11 trainees in Global Voting with 1,415,420 votes.[6] On Episode 11, he was eliminated ranking in at 10th place.[7]

Following his debut on the survival show, on đôi mươi October, Belift Lab announced that Hanbin would be holding an online fanmeeting called Hanbin !00% on 31 October. 2022: Debut with TEMPEST[edit]

On 3 January 2022, Hanbin was introduced as the fifth thành viên of the group TEMPEST.[13] They debuted on 2 March 2022 with the mini album It's Me, It's We. With this debut he marked himself as the first Vietnamese male vĩ đại debut in a K-pop boy group.[14][15]

On 3 September 2022, Hanbin was featured on Dispatch with an article titled "perfect beauty".[17]

On 25 November 2022, Hanbin once appeared on Dispatch with an article titled "Hanbin, perfect choreography, extraordinary charm".[18]

On 1 December 2022, After Hanbin attended the 2022 MAMA AWARDS with TEMPEST, Dispatch wrote an article about Hanbin with photos taken at the scene with the title "Hanbin, pretty as a picture".[19]

2023: Hanbin in the group TEMPEST has comeback with album 4th The Calm Before The Storm [폭풍전야][edit]

Rookie boy group TEMPEST will finally make their anticipated comeback with the release of their 4th mini album, 'The Calm Before The Storm'.

On 30 March, Yuehua Entertainment unveiled a teaser image for TEMPEST's "Dangerous" comeback, raising anticipation for the group's stormy transformation. This will mark the group's first new music release in approximately 5 months.

On Seoul on the afternoon of 17 January 2023, The "Korea First Brand Awards 2023" award ceremony was held at Seoul Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu Province. Dispatch then published an article titled "Hanbin, lovely hand heart".[20]

On Seoul on the afternoon of 17 April 2023, The showcase for TEMPEST's 4th mini album 'The Calm Before the Storm' was held at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu. Hanbin showed off his warm visual with a plaid jacket and navy xanh rớt pants and Dispatch published an article titled "Hanbin, Fresh Energy".[21]
